Review: Soap & Glory 'Kick Ass Concealer'

I think that the name really sums up the product much better than i ever could. I began by hating this product, honestly i remember thinking that it was such a waste of £10.00 but now...i don't know what changed but I've come to love it!

As before may i divert your attention to the left side bar where you'll find a poll, i would love it if you could answer! Thank you, much appreciated

As you can see the concealer is sectioned off to 2 parts, one is a white translucent powder which i find is absolutely perfect for under the eyes because the grains are extremely small and although translucent a hint of white can be seen which brightens up the under eye area perfectly. The second section is the main part which you'll find two half moons of creamy concealer, one is slightly darker than the other, the lighter shade is intended for your under eye and darker shade is meant to cover blemishes.

I found that the darker shade was just too orange for my skin tone therefore i think that i went with the wrong choice when i chose 'medium' for this product, now having said that i think that people who have extremely fair/pale skin would find it tricky to match their skin with any of the colour ranges (there is only 3), unless they were tanned by the beautiful sun we've finally been seeing in England!  The coverage of the product is brilliant if set with a powder and definitely long lasting!
The product also comes with a sponge (very thin and white) which is for the powder but i find it useless and because of that i've lost it. oops.

You would think that because this product is infact extremely creamy it would break you out even more but for me and my skin i find that it actually helps clear my skin, which is odd. Now wish i had chosen the 'light' because i find that i only use one of the semicircles and that's the lighter one so that is a shame considering its £10.00, this review is long overdue as i've had this product for many months now and it's still not ran out yet!

Please note that i realise you guys want to see more DIY/Food/Fashion (result of my previous poll) but if i hadn't done this review then you would get NO post for another week, and thats just too cruel.

As always thank you so much for taking the time to read, until next time

  1. I've wanted to try this for ages and now that I have read your review I have definitely been tempted! I am lucky enough to be blessed with a naturally tanned skin tone so I think I will be indulging into this!
