Being a tourist in London - first impressions of oxford street, the atmosphere etc..etc..

Hello beauties!

Today I have something slightly different for you all, I'm going to share with you lovely readers my very short experience I had in London (even though i've been many times before) but more specifically my impressions on Oxford Street!
But before all that good stuff, let's see the items I bought...(clothes aren't shown because I intend on doing a spring haul on my youtube)

Yes guys I went with the Blogger/Youtuber/Instagramer trend and purchased Muji storage drawers! Now this is the stackable pack of 2 which come at around £10.95 for one pair. The reason I went with this and not the 5 drawer one is because this one's drawers are much thicker and therefore you can fit things like the thicker foundation bottles easily.

Oxford street was completely and utterly beautiful. 1.5 miles of pure retail and pure joy, basically most girls' dream place. You can walk from the top to the bottom and you'd spot at least 3 River Islands, 2 Zaras, 2 Topshops and way too many H&Ms, but hey, who's complaining? Sitting at the top of the classic red double decker bus, the hussle and bussle of the busy street seems daunting and frightening at first, especially with the pickpocket stories floating around. But you'll soon overcome all that and breathe in the fresh smell of retail.
The biggest Topshop in the world is breathtaking, stepping into that slice of heaven you honestly don't know where to look, are you to look at the beautiful clothes surrounding you or just take a moment to fully appreciate where you are and the sheer size of the shop! For any one ever thinking about going to London, you have to go to Oxford street, it's too good to pass up.

Honestly I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how amazing and surreal the experience was and just how much I (someone who runs away at the thought of a busy, crowded place) enjoyed it.
Let me know if you guys have ever been to oxford street or if you ever plan on going?

Thank you so so so much for helping me reach 20k+ views it honestly means the world to me you guys should've seen the smile on my face when I saw that I had reach this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Review: Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush "Stare-struck"

Hey guys!

So i'm here with a review and infact this coming week or two you guys will be seeing a series of these, especially on the skin care side of things (spoiler - Garnier & Nivea). But for now i'm here with a blush review and I ended up purchasing a colour that I already have 3 other alike ones...oops. I guess I have a favourite!

You wouldn't believe just how long it took me to get my head around this, you'd think it was simple enough right? Get the sponge and dip it in the lid...well you'd be wrong. You see, Aida being Aida, I didn't realise that the blush was actually in the lid and I was there for far longer than i'd like to admit pumping the stamp like end thinking blush would come out, I blame seventeen for their new crazy blush idea.

The idea in it self is actually rather appealing, until you have stamped the blush onto your face and you're left desperately trying to blend the product out so you know, you don't end up looking like a clown and I can say from first hand experience that you will be needing a brush to blend this out as your fingers just won't do. Which is shame considering the product looks like it's been made to travel with, what with the mirror on top. I suppose you could blend with your fingers but you'd be there for longer than you probably should be.

The packaging along with the colour range are great, it's certainly unique and I can safely say that i've never seen anything like this on the market before, so top scores for originality! The colour range also has everything you'd probably need (its not a very big one but its good) from natural berry like colours of 'stare-struck' to bright pinks like 'made you look'.

All in all a pretty good blush for the price of £4.99, includes beautiful subtle shimmers and I can definitely see my self using this product as a daily thing, however for now I'm far too dedicated to my Benefit Rockateur to see my self using anything else.

Till' next time lovelies,

Review: Toni & Guy Casual Salt spray Texturising spray

Helloo guys!

I hope you're having a fantastic weekend and that the weather treats you well, where ever you may be! So today i'm going to be doing a review on a much raved about product which is the toni and guy salt spray!

First off i'd like to say that if you're unsure whether this product is for you, you should purchase the smaller version first which is around the £2/£3 mark and the larger is roughly £7 (give or take a few pence).

The smell of this product is INCREDIBLE I don't think i've ever come across a salt spray with such a nice smell, so if you're somebody who likes their hair products to smell good you would be happy with this! I'm not the best at describing scents but you should note that it's fairly strong and once sprayed is noticeable.

Toni & Guy has got it so right with the packaging of this product, especially with the spray nozzle! Although it's quite hard to push down once you do you get this amazing distribution of liquid and this makes it a million times easier to get the product all over your hair.

I've never used this product without braiding my hair into two french braids/plaits first simply because my hair is far too thick, straight and heavy to do this but for those who's hair is already naturally wavy a little I think this would make your hair even more 'beachy' and isn't that what most people want?

Overall I love this product and I can definitely see my self repurchasing over and over again as well as other Toni & Guy products!
Let me know if you like any other products from this brand? Should I be trying anything from their range?

Review: Revlon Colour burst Matte balm

Hello sweeties! First off I would like to say how truly sorry I am for how little i've been posting, I've been trying to concentrate on my youtube and as a result my blog has been neglected, but that won't be happening anymore as I have lots of posts planned!
So on with the review of a new product out on the shelves (and a new favourite of mine I think!)

Essentially this lipstick is the matte version of the beloved Revlon colour burst balm and personally I think it's great! I used to often try and make the other ones matte with powder and by blending it in with my ring finger however the need to do that has gone now that there's a matte version!

Consistency - Very similar to the original version, if not much lighter! Goes on like a dream - sort of how a primer might go onto the skin. The crayon style along with the smoothness means the lipstick can be amazingly accurate.

Finish - You'd think that considering its a matte balm it would be drying and consequently leave your lips dry and chapped right? Wrong. It's pretty comparable to the original moisturising one and at times I can't even tell that I have it on.

Colour range - The one i'm disappointed in this range is the colour range! There's just not enough colours to satisfy my need to own every colour! Revlon...get your act together and bring out more of this heaven.

Lasting - Incredible! Need I say more? Lasts for as long as you could imagine, of course if you drink and eat lots the centre will fade slightly but other than it's fantastic.

Overall I think revlon has hit the nail on the head with this range and the other 'shinier' version that's out too, which I shall own soon enough!

Thank you guys for reading and as always don't forget to comment bellow telling me what you think of this product & any other recommendations!
